We have a long, experienced history in the flooring business, along with the other Custom Carpets members. We strive
to have prompt, personal and courteous service along with quality products and honest, dependable craftsmanship.
The history...
The Grand opening of Custom Carpets was in 1984, but the Jones family flooring experience started way before that. Bill
Jones Sr. , managed a flooring store in California the '60s it wasn't long before his son Bill Jones Jr., was assisting his
father with the business.
After many years, Bill Jones Senior had the opportunity to become the first Philadelphia Carpet Rep for Arkansas. Bill
Jones Jr. returned to Arkansas and began installing floors, building quite the reputation along the way. It wasn't long
before he had the urge to open his own store, Custom Carpets, with help from his wife Robin and daughter Brenda.
Brenda managed the store for 18 years, taking care of all the daily duties. Her husband Tony Crites got the flooring bug
and installed for years, building a reputation for himself. After many years Bill Jones Junior retired knowing the family
business would continue to be a reputable flooring fixture in the heart of North Little Rock.
